I like it except the rear-end treatment at the exhaust.

Transplants a modern BMW _____ into a Classic E9 CS.

I thought of so many pretty thoughts before I noticed it said "Interior".

This car is fairly notorious in the E9 community. Mine is a complete resto-mod, and I like the idea of the motor and suspension, but the delicate and period interior is the second best thing about the E9 after the gorgeous exterior. I don't know the whole story - maybe he lost the interior in a poker game and he had an M5 lying around with serious body damage? - but it's not what I would do even with an unlimited budget. (Since that was my approach and this is not what I did.)

I actually dig it. You get the look of a classic with the amenities of a modern vehicle.

As mentioned, the exhaust looks a little weird, but I'm not sure how you would fix that. Also don't necessarily care for the wheels, but I know why they're there. Maybe some type of crosslaces would look better?

Interesting. Looks like it has the E39 chassis and everything. Hopefully the E9 was an absolute travesty and couldn't be saved, so maybe that was the best thing for it.

Dear god, if you're going to do it, at least do it well. What a horrible bodge-job that interior is.

I like it except for the dash. But, that would be a whole project in itself. This way, they didn't have to mess with electronics/wiring.

I think a reasonable improvement might be a custom dash that used the existing electronics and paid homage to the E9 design.

I like it. aside from the rear, that could use a little more massaging

its CLEARLY not 1/2 assed in any way, and if it was a old body that had a rusty chassis, why the fuck not?

not if he cut up a good condition E9, thats a different story all together
